This is a fulfilment of a recent threat by Nigeria Military to invade South-East. They kicked off last night being 25th of July 2023 in Aba, Abia State. This unprovoked invasion came with shooting and torture of innocent men and women who were captured as they were going about their daily businesses.
The trigger-happy Nigerian Army and Police have occupied the major roads and markets scaring people away from the day's businesses. There are videos and pictures of people who got killed and many undergoing severe tortures of the Military personnel in the open for no offence. Information from reliable sources have it that many escaped with bullet wounds as these Officers shot sporadically.
A once peaceful commercial city was turned into a ghost town today by these invaders. Markets and offices were shutdown.
Nigeria Government is lawless and reigns supreme in impunity. There is no respect to fundamental rights. The military brutalizes men, women and children. They kill the innocent people for any attempt to march peacefully against injustices or against unprovoked killings.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was unlawfully renditioned to Nigeria and tried by Nigeria Courts of competent jurisdiction. He was discharged and acquitted but the Executive arm of government has refused to obey this ruling since October 2022 till date. When the people tried to protest against his continued incarceration in DSS custody, the government sent Nigeria Army and Police to kill as many as they can. They kill and take the bodies away with them thinking they have covered every trace of their atrocities but we have the videos and pictures in archive.
The world must see why our exit from Nigeria is sacrosanct. We have been facing attempt to be wiped out over 50 years ago and we must defend ourselves before we are totally annihilated.
