The lives of average Christian in Nigeria are of no value because the Government Security arm who are equipped and mandated to secure the lives of their citizens, are always the first to hack people down when they raise alarm for help, and there will be no enquiry. The outcry of Christians against Banditry and terrorism has always fallen on deaf ears of its Government.
Countless times, Bandits have invaded and bombed churches in Borno, Katsina, Jos, Abuja, Zamfara among others leaving scores injured.
Recently, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) received a ferocious threat from this marauding gangs impersonating themselves as Warlord in Nigeria, requesting them to shut down churches in Zamfara State or get ready for their deadly attacks. Sequel to this, Ayuba Elkanah the commissioner of Police in the State has confirmed the authenticity of the threat from this outlawed gang and in that stead limits the time of worship by Christians in the State.
Reason carefully, Insurgents wrote and threaten Christians to shutdown Churches. The Nigeria Police Chief advises the Christians to reduce their worship hours and activities in order not to be attacked. How does this sound?
If Nigeria Government hasn't compromised, shouldn't they be challenging the criminals? Hell No, they are rather assisting the bandits to achieve their aim. How else do you explain Nigeria Security Forces advising Christians to slow down in their places of worship because they received a Letter from Terrorists.
In the past 4 years, Nigeria Government has relocated its key Security to the Southeast with a mandate to wipe the people. They have been intimidating, molesting, kidnapping and killing the young people and Traditional Rulers. They burn down communities and market places. As they achieve this, they also pave way for the Islamic extremists called Fulani herdsmen to occupy farmlands owned by the fleeing community.
There are evidences everywhere showing how bandits have occupied homes belonging to Christians while Nigeria Government and its Security stand aside and watch.
The majority of Christians in the North have since stopped going to Church because their churches have been razed down and warned not to rebuild them. Some have been warned never to go close to their churches. The church is gradually shutting down in Nigeria as the blood of Christians continue to bleed.
The disintegration of Nigeria remains the solution to this persecution by Nigeria Government and her Security.
