As the leader of the indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu goes to the Supreme Court Nigeria in Abuja on the 15th December 2023, the indigenous populace are hopeful of his release from the outcome of the judgement.

The IPOB Directorate Of State led by Mazi Chika Edoziem on 3rd December 2023 made it known to the world, via Radio Biafra; that it is over two years and six months that the Federal government of Nigeria and their foreign allies kidnapped the leader of IPOB, tortured him almost to death and extraordinarily renditioned him to Nigeria, with a mindset that the demand or movement of IPOB would die off. Unfortunately, no for them the movement got even tougher because the need to disintegrate from Nigeria is an ideology that has lasted well over 50 years of endured pain from an extremely corrupt and genocidal war in the Southeast of Nigeria.

The Federal government of Nigeria had hoped that the capture and detention of the leader of IPOB would be the end of the movement for the restoration of Biafra or better still an easy walkover for them but unfortunately IPOB worldwide has proven them wrong. IPOB has remained indestructible, despite all their antics to tear down the movement. The leadership of IPOB has proven to the world that they will never be distracted but focused on achieving their goal which is the total liberation of Biafra nation in this surface of earth.

The leadership of IPOB in a recent maiden broadcast had again warned the FG of Nigeria about the dangers for failing to release its leader Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu come 15th December 2023 because they have exhausted their patience by remaining peaceful and law abiding all through these years of unlawful detention and incarceration. He again warned that this option of Peaceful approach shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness. The time is ticking very fast as the elasticity has hit its limit. We have given them all the benefit of doubts to do the needful all these years, he added.

He further reminded the Federal government of Nigeria that what happened in 1967-1970 is still fresh in the minds of the indigenous people and in this present age of 2023 it will not be a walkover for Nigeria. He warned that the war drum they are beating will sink them completely as there will be no hiding place for anyone of them.

He reminded the Federal government of Nigeria that a government that does not respect ruling of its courts is lawless and only drums for anarchy. The Court has ruled that he Nnamdi Kanu should be released unconditionally and that he cannot be tried in any court in Nigeria because he was extraordinarily renditioned to Nigeria which is an international crime against humanity.

Nnamdi Kanu remains a prisoner of conscience. The Nigeria government must obey the Umuahia Court order and her Appeal Court verdict that says discharged and acquitted. If for any reason Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not released after the upcoming Court date of 15th of December 2023, then we the indigenous people of Biafra will simply read it as a call for change of plan and they should be ready to face the music. We are not begging them to release him nor apologizing for the violation of his RIGHT. We are simply advising them to obey the court judgement while there is still a window of peaceful resolution of this abuse of human right.
