It is well known to every reasonable individual that lies endures a while but does not stand the test of time as truth and uprightness remains indomitable.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as an organization was formed for the sole purpose of restoring the Biafran Nation and saving its inhabitants from the long-planned Islamization agenda by the Fulanis political leaders in Nigeria.
Just as the leader of IPOB has always said that “we are whiter than white and whiter than snow”, so have the activities of this freedom fighting organization been in accordance with the laws of the state.
It is only in a corrupted country like Nigeria, that an individual or organization seeking for self-determination are termed terrorists.
This desperate move of blackmailing IPOB just to present them as evil before the world, has led them to commit several atrocities, killing of its citizens and many more.
The Nigerian Government through its agent in Finland known as Simon Ekpa organized well-known criminals, financed them to commit all sorts of criminalities in the South Eastern region just to blackmail IPOB and its leader who has been illegally detained by the Nigerian Fulani government.
Some of their activities are as follows:
• Killing of security officers on duty
• Burning of government owned properties in disguise
• Disruptions of market activities on known market days
• Kidnapping and snatching of vehicles, etc.
All these activities were committed just to blackmail IPOB and their illegally detained leader. IPOB is a freedom fighting organization that is recognized in over one hundred countries of the world. They are known for their peaceful and good conduct, law abiding and peaceful way of protest towards their demand for a well-organized referendum, to decide their fate as a people in the contraption called Nigeria.
IPOB have through so many mediums alerted the world of not been directly or indirectly involved in all sorts of crimes been mated to the people of South Eastern region, through press release signed by its Publicity Secretary "Comrade Emma Powerful”, newspapers, Radio Biafra broadcast and interviews by its Legal Lead Council Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Some of which were carried by State and local media and newspaper platforms as follow:
• Punch newspaper dated 17th December 2022, headlined "Kanu disowns Simon Ekpa, ask Igbos to Ignore sit at home."
• Ripple newspaper dated 2nd October 2023, headlined "IPOB disowns Biafra Liberation Army, says they are violent criminals run by Simon Ekpa."
• Daily post 24th November 2023, headlined “Army blackmailing us Simon Ekpa not our leader says IPOB, and so many others.
So many other press interviews were granted to IPOB legal team head and others. All these made it clear that the federal government of Nigeria hid behind the mask committing crimes and kept the South Eastern region in an unrest state in order to give IPOB a bad name, which they supposed will quicken the designation of IPOB as a terrorist’s organization by the international community.
IPOB is a nonviolent freedom fighting organization, founded by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in accordance with the rules of the United Nations. We remain peaceful, nonviolent freedom seekers through a well-organized referendum conduct.
