Having seen that the program of speedy annihilation and obliteration of the Igbo_Biafrans wasn't going as envisaged or projected, Gowon began to apply various obnoxious and unscrupulous tactics, as advised by @GOVUK, including, but not limited to the total land, sea, and air blockade, the mindless pounding of schools, churches, markets, hospitals, residential areas, and worst of all refugee camps, and hiring of brutal Fulani mercenaries from outside Nigeria, who joined Gowon's kinsmen from North Central Nigeria, to commit all kinds of war crimes against Biafrans.
All these were done because of Gowon's desperation to exterminate, annihilate, and obliterate Igbo_Biafrans, which British government, through Gowon, nearly achieved.
The above stated facts are known to the world. But what has continued to baffle everyone is Gowon's lame, untenable, infantile, despicable, and ridiculous insistence that the genocidal war was caused by Ojukwu.
This childish denial and apportionment, or rather, parrying of blame to Ojukwu, for the genocidal war that nearly wiped off the Biafran nation, is what has held Gowon in a jugular choke-hold, since it became certain that Biafrans were not wiped out as Britain had intended, and major/key players in the theatre of war did not perish, as projected, thereby leaving a window for refutal of fabricated narratives.
All this while, Gowon had been making very strenuous effort to validate, justify, or affirm the claim that the genocidal war was triggered by Ojukwu, and this has led him into many absurdities, including cloaking himself in religious garment of deceit, as he prayed to his murderous gods, in the name of Nigeria Prays. Gowon did all this to delude himself that there would be no payback day for his atrocities.
Unfortunately for Gowon, that nightmare, that trauma, that torment called payback day, is here with Gowon, and is bombarding him from many angles.
• Gowon has lost many of his children and he witnessed their burial, as he caused many parents to witness the burial of their children.
• Again, despite all the cover up and denial of British and Nigerian governments, about the hiring of Fulani mercenaries for the execution of the Biafran genocide, the Fulani terrorists have been insisting on the fact that one of their promised rewards is the ceding of a large percentage of North Central Nigeria to them, which Gowon outrightly reneged on.
It is the forceful acquisition of the lands of the Indigenous People of North Central (Middle Belt) that has been responsible for intensification of the genocidal terrorism by Fulani terrorists that have been sacking communities, occupying them, and renaming them, especially in Gowon's state, PLATUE.
Presently, a large chunk of Gowon's kinsmen is living in IDP camps, with their communities turned to Fulani communities.
Before now, Gowon had been denying the fact that he was the person who started the genocidal war against Igbo_Biafrans.
But recently, as he was trying to encourage President Tinubu, with regards to the mess that Nigeria has slipped into, he unequivocally, even if inadvertently, told the world that he was the one that started the Biafran genocidal war (obviously at the prompting of @10DowningStreet), which he was criticized for, but he was able to execute successfully and clinically. (Everybody knows that he was just a front for #HarodWilson's @10DowningStreet, which used the cover of @GovNigeria to pursue the annihilation of Igbo_Biafrans).
What could have led Gowon to making such admission and open confession? Gowon has certainly come face to face with reality eventually.
~The life Presidency that Britain promised him for executing that genocide against Biafrans did not materialize.
~Gowon lost his family, lost relevance, and lost his identity, as the truth of his paternity began to make the rounds.
~Gowon is seeing his ears with his eyes because that Biafra that he murdered millions of #Biafrans to truncate is becoming a reality before his eyes, for which he must be bemoaning his longevity.
~Most painfully, it has become increasingly clear to Gowon that he and his kinsmen, who championed the mindless massacre of Biafrans, "TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE", have become the worst victims of the same Nigeria they murdered Biafrans to achieve, as their Fulani compatriots, who are bent on acquiring the lands that were covenanted to them, are doing to them worse things than they did to Biafrans.
When all the above are put into proper perspective, it will be concluded with ease that Gowon is really miserable, wretched, tormented, tortured, and nightmarized, because all he had been promised by Britain as his reward for being used to execute the annihilative #GENOCIDAL war against #Biafrans, have all gone with the wind.
Again, looking at what the Nigerian state is using the Fulani terrorists, and other terrorist groups to do the people of PLATUE, and the rest of #Middle_Belt, one would easily see that the day of harvest, payment, reward, and recompense, is truly here for Gowon, as it is what a man sows that he will reap.
