"An Elder" in Igbo cosmology simply means "an aged person who can readily do anything legitimate to protect his generation, preserve his tradition and culture and defend his land with the conceptual believe that the future of our youth should be secured". Anything short of the above stated features is #fake, but the corps of #gangster elders in Igbo land currently parading themselves as Ohanaeze Ndigbo and present-day traditional leaders of Igbo origin are basically and biometrically direct opposite of the intended basic aims, goals and motives of a true definition of an #elder in African context.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo is just a group of selfish businessmen and contractors who are always after business deals and contracts that will attract self-gain and benefits irrespective of the consequences of such transactions on Igbo Nation. The #gangster elders always seek for opportunities or avenue to betray and sabotage their own people for exchange of political recognition and indirectly seeking for contracts and brown envelope at the detriment pry of their people they claim to be representing.
All these atrocious acts of Ohanaeze Ndigbo "that is their evil deeds against Ndigbo in general and Biafra struggle for freedom in particular" has fundamentally made the youths and any right-thinking human being to raise red flag against them.
For instance, do you know that Ohanaeze Ndigbo is the brain behind tagging of #IPOB a terrorist group which roped into operation python dance 2 in Igbo land that claimed many lives and properties of Igbos as well as the genocide committed by happy trigger #Nigerian security agents at the compound of #Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the #IPOB leader where more than 30 Igbo/Biafran youths lost their lives.
The same Ohanaeze Ndigbo belittled and deceived #Igbo people with mirage restructure. This group of old senseless leaders are involved in the mass burial of our people killed in the north by terrorist.
Are you not aware that #Ohanaeze Ndigbo congratulated, awarded and rewarded the former governor of #River state Nyesom Wike for massacring over 500 youths in #Obigbo and for illegally detaining so many of them in various secret cells where the females were being randomly gang raped and males taken away and killed one after another.
During #ENDSARS protest in 2020, the same #old gangster elders destabilised and brainwashed gullible one Nigerianists with deceptive #Igbo presidency 2023 campaign which was later betrayed by the same Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
This same Ohanaeze Ndigbo connived with Tinubu to assist governor Hope Uzodinma into gubernatorial seat of Imo state for the second tenure despite the bloodiest administration recorded during his first tenure in the history of Imo state, simply because of mere peanut brown envelope.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo are sturdily fighting against #Biafra Referendum and doing everything possible to undermine it. The list is endless.
In the light of the above, it is obvious that #Ohanaeze Ndigbo has bluntly and intentionally refused to shoulder the course of Igbo people rather, they are planted and structured as spy to uproot the future of Ndigbo. That is why #Igbo Union was destroyed by British and Nigeria government after 1967 to 1970 genocide against Biafra.
The #Igbo union founded around 1937 and comprised of the rich, middle class, honourable, intellectuals, influential and noble Igbo men that came together to have positive objective that will unite, protect, assist and give Ndigbo political direction in every aspect of life, including helping our cousins from costal region of Biafra as old Eastern region.
This #Igbo Union attracted many goodies and development into Igbo land such as schools like National High School, Aba formerly known as #Igbo high school which was built around 1948 by #Igbo Union, that very venue where #IPOB were massacred in their large numbers in 2016 in Aba.
#Igbo union gave scholarships which benefited #Igbos and our cousin brother from Ogoni, Ken Saro-Wiwa in Government College Umuahia when Michael Okpara was premier of Eastern Nigeria. There were youth empowerments. They built hospitals and companies and made learning of Igbo language compulsory in every school in Igbo land directly linking Igbos to their culture and tradition.
Finally, #Igbo union contributed in conveying our people from the North and West to Biafra land and also help Biafra to sustain the genocide committed against them.
