Ebonyi State in the Southeast records high rate in Prostitution and Modern-day slavery amongst the young girls. This trend of immorality must be checked immediately to save lives and dignity of the Igbo race.
It's quite sad that our young girls in Ebonyi state have found sex slavery a cash point with Fulani herders and some Muslim Alhajis resident in Ebonyi. They drop out of school and flee to hang in with these men old enough to be their grandfathers.
Unfortunately, their parents are accomplices in this immoral act. They are found encouraging their innocent and ignorant girls to keep the trade going because they earn financial returns from it.
From a verifiable report at our disposal, some of these girls are taken to Northern Nigeria where they are used as sex slaves to Fulani herders and Alhajis. In some cases, they are forcefully and secretly married off to some of these Paedophiles without the knowledge of anyone.
There are yet some horrifying cases where they are killed if they refuse to spend their lifetimes back in the North with their captors. Their body parts are sold to organ harvesters.
Those young girls in Ebonyi state uses their small gains from these Alhajis to intimidate other girls who chose the part of Education. Their mothers are not left out. They flaunt the money and show off to other women in the community that they have arrived.
This show of shame must be checked by community youth leaders and IPOB family members.
It must be stopped at all cost.
We are putting this NOTICE to the people of Ebonyi State, the entire Southeast part of Nigeria, to stop this practice immediately because it goes against our norms and Tradition.
Paedophile is a Taboo in Igbo land and we must do anything to stop it at the earliest. We are also alerting our compromised Traditional Rulers to speak up against this taboo and banish families who break the rules.
We are also warning the parents of these Children to stop this immorality immediately. They should know that we have their records and also following them up.
We are giving them the end of this year to withdraw from this act before it is too late. Igbo land cannot experience another slavery in this age.
"To before warned is to before harmed".
Shalom!
