This has been an intentional act against the indigenous Igbo tribe in Nigeria known regionally as the South-eastern region for more than two decades now, all the British selected presidents of Nigeria past and present, mandated their military and other paramilitary forces to go on an open extortion on their numerous checkpoints in the south East.
The police at checkpoints criminally pocketed fifteen billion naira (15 billion) while the military pocketed the sum of six billion eight hundred thousand naira (6.8 billion) and it amounts to the total sum of twenty-one billion naira (21 billion) from south-East roadblocks and extortions with two months: December 2024 to January 2025.
The dispensations of these billions making extortion checkpoints were as follows: Uga junction and Atani Road Naval checkpoints most lucrative in South East, N600 million pocketed in two months from its more than ten extortion points.
There has been confirmed presently at least three hundred direct military roadblocks and five hundred patrol teams (indirect roadblocks) mounted on South-East roads with 98 percent of them using public procured assault rifles. These extortions and other corrupt acts by military personnel are contrary to section 108 of the armed forces act of 2024 which prescribed fourteen years jail on any military personnel found guilty of the offense of extortion.
On some of these checkpoints, so many innocent citizens have lost their lives in the hands of those indiscipline criminals called military and police forces, as some are been abducted on the points.
most of the police personnel have their POS machines which they make use of against the citizens who are their prey target, leaving no financial evidence trace after their forceful extortion.
What a dubious government with leaders of various criminally minded individuals who citizens have continuously suffered in their hands, political leaders that has never been truly elected by its citizens rather have been selected by the British Fulani cabals and are been forced to do the will of the Fulanis in order to retain the political positions.
