The Prophetic Warnings of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: Fulani Herdsmen Crisis Unfolds (Part 2)

The youths of Uromi, pushed to their limits by these relentless attacks, took their destiny into their own hands. They confronted and eliminated Fulani terrorists they caught travelling in a Dangote truck. But instead of commending these brave actions, the Nigerian government worked to discredit them, deceptively labelling the terrorists as "hunters."

Consider the glaring contradictions in this narrative: How can so-called hunters operate on someone else's land without state-issued licenses or official permissions? When did Nigerian hunters begin using AK-47s? Why did one of the Fulani terrorists stab a vigilante during a routine search? These "hunters" exploited Dangote trucks to transport arms, passing numerous checkpoints undetected, a clear indication of a coordinated and premeditated plan.

Meanwhile, the Edo State governor failed his people. Instead of supporting the youths who stepped up to do the security work Nigerian forces should have done, he travelled to Kano to seek favour from Fulani power brokers who had secured his governorship under the APC. He ordered the arrest of the courageous youths who dared to protect their community. Further, he compounded the betrayal by banning local vigilantes in Edo State, leaving the state exposed to further attacks.

The aftermath of the confrontation sparked a wave of threats across the internet from Fulani individuals, including their security officers. Within 24 hours, they demanded that the Nigerian government arrest the Uromi youths. Suddenly, the previously inactive and indifferent police force sprang to life, swiftly arresting 16 youths and counting. As unrest escalates in Uromi, the region teeters on the brink. What is most tragic is the response of some Edo youths and content creators who now deny Uromi's connection to other Edo cities, distancing themselves from the crisis instead of uniting in solidarity. Their actions reflect a devastating lack of collective support.

The ongoing genocide perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen is a tragic reality in the state of Yakubu Gowon, who was responsible for the deaths of over 6 million Biafrans during the Biafran War from 1967 to 1970. Currently, Plateau State has seen more than a hundred innocent citizens slaughtered in just a few days, with over 50 killed in Benue State, yet no arrests have been made.

Yoruba land is in a dire situation. They are gone, and the media only covers it when convenient. Currently, only a few cities are somewhat free. The regions experiencing these senseless killings once accused IPOB of bringing war to their previously peaceful Nigeria. Unfortunately, now they are the ones crying out for help. My question is, whose peace are we talking about? I never realized that the wealthy also suffer.

There have been killings of terrorist herdsmen in Uromi, and yet all Fulani threats are against the Igbos. This demonstrates that Biafrans are their prime targets. Everyone should act cautiously and defend themselves. The Director of the DSS has echoed the concerns raised by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu years ago; he urged Nigerians to defend themselves. The recent Fulani menace reflects the prophecies and predictions made by IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It is essential to report any unusual movements in your area; no stone should be left unturned.

In Biafra, we stand.
