Western Countries and Nigeria's Struggles: Unravelling the Hidden Challenges

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been held incommunicado by Britain and their puppet state, Nigeria, for over three years. This detention results from his demand for a democratic referendum, allowing his people to decide whether they want to remain part of the forced union known as Nigeria. The world's eyes cannot be blinded to the significant injustice faced by the indigenous Igbo tribe in Nigeria.

Nigeria, in alliance with the British and the U.S.A. government, sponsored the kidnapping of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria illegally, as against the international law to which Nigeria is a signatory. Still, the United Nations is feigning deafness due to Western countries' interest in Nigerian resources.

A British military officer was arrested last week in Nigeria for smuggling armaments; these were the different ways by which Western countries sponsor terrorism in Nigeria and Africa at large, just to smooth their pathway to looting the natural resources in Nigeria.

Africa has been destined to rise and be liberated from the shackles of Western colonial criminals. The time for that liberation is now. The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, committed no crime known to the law; therefore must be released.

Freedom for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
