On the 9th day of September 2025, it was widely circulated as the Sahara reporters carried the statement made by the son of former governor of Kano state "Bashir El-Rufai " whose statement reads: "Regional autonomy can easily solve this situation of blame games, as all citizens of the said regions would be cognizant of who they can directly hold responsible for their woes ----- I don't believe in this esoteric concept of one Nigeria: Escobar (meaning Nigerian President Bola Tinubu) and I can agree on that".
Bashir El Rufai's above statement was the same reason that led to the genocide committed against the indigenous Biafrans by the British government and Nigeria from 1967 to 1970, where more than six million Biafrans were massacred, starved and were to be annihilated from the face of the earth just for demanding regional autonomy.
No man born of a woman can escape the law of karma; what goes around always comes around. At this critical moment of Nigeria's decline, a northern individual is now advocating for the same regional autonomy system that his fathers and the British fought against when the Biafrans demanded it. As the saying goes, "What an elder sees while sitting down, a child cannot see while atop a tree."
The blood of over six million Biafrans will never rest, instead will continuously torment the Nigerian state and her allies until they are appeased only through the letting go of Biafrans to their land as a separate entity.
