In the 2025 Independence broadcast, Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu declared IPOB and ESN as terrorist organizations that must be flushed out to clear insecurity, kidnapping, and security threats in the Southeast—a statement that speaks volumes about the intention and plans against the indigenous People of the Southeast. How can a President of a Nation called Nigeria declare a region of the country terrorists that must be exterminated for the simple reason of demanding self-determination, which is a constitutional Right of the indigenous people?
Over the years, there has been a steady and silent killing of the people of the Southeast by the Nigerian security Forces. There has been a continuous burning down of houses and business places for no apparent or logical reasons. This situation is not isolated to Southeast alone. The Government has followed up the Southeast Igbo people to other regions like Lagos and Abuja, where businesses and homes of Southeast Igbo people are pulled down daily without justification. This is a clear case of ethnic annihilation, as can be seen in the Presidential broadcast.
The silence of Bola Tinubu in the most recent massacre of Southeast indigenous people in Lagos is an indication that he fully backs his people. All these actions by President Bola Tinubu point to a declaration of War on the Southeast indigenous People.
The President has, over the years, flooded the entire southeast region with Fulani terrorist soldiers. These soldiers have a mission to kill the Youths and aid the activities of the Fulani terrorist group in the region. After each operation, they call the Media and ask them to tag their dastardly acts on IPOB and ESN. This misinformation gives them the legitimacy to continue the annihilation of Biafrans in the southeast region of Nigeria.
Ironically, in Kwara State, located in the South West region of Nigeria, the Fulani terrorists have taken over 15 communities, displacing the indigenous people. Despite this alarming situation, the President has not deployed Nigerian soldiers to the area. It appears that he does not consider this a security threat. In contrast, a security threat for Bola Tinubu seems to be when IPOB demands a sovereign state of Biafra.
States like Niger State, Benue, Nasarawa, among others, in the middle belt of Nigeria have been run over by terrorist Fulani jihadists. Civilians and security agencies have fled some locations, yet this is not a security threat to the President. Just a few weeks ago, over 40 police men were gunned down by these terrorists, and there was no press statement by President Bola Tinubu. This terrorist invasion is not enough for him to declare an emergency. Still, issues of IPOB are always in the news as a declaration of War.
How can any sane President declare War on IPOB or Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for raising security volunteers to push away Fulani jihadist terrorists from terrorizing the Southeast? We all saw how, prior to the formation of ESN, the way these terrorists destroyed farmlands, raped our women, razed down communities and killed the indigenous People with impunity. Governors and politicians stood watching without action. The Fulani terrorists ravaged the Southeast to a level that farmers could no longer go to their farms.
The Government security forces could not stop them, and when they did anything at all, it was aiding the terrorists. Mr President BOLA TINUBU views these young men, who volunteered to secure the land from these invaders by staking their lives to make the Southeast safe for its people, as a Security Threat that must be flushed out at all costs.
This is the worst President that Nigeria has ever had. A president who has not provided any form of security for the people since he came into office and has no clear blueprint of what he intends to do, other than fleshing out a group that is fighting against insurgencies in the southeast region of Nigeria.
The 1st October Independent broadcast by President Bola Tinubu only points to the fact that the continued incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is supervised by the President himself. This is why he has kept him in detention even against Court rulings that he is discharged and acquitted. A president who doesn't respect Court rulings is a lawless President.
The President of Nigeria, BOLA TINUBU, wants Nnamdi Kanu dead, just like he declared in his speech that IPOB members should be flushed out of the surface of the earth. This is a total declaration of War against the indigenous People.
The Southeast Biafrans have become endangered species in Nigeria.
This is the time for all the Southeast population, men of good conscience, to rise against this evil plot by President BOLA AHMED TINUBU and his cronies to wipe out innocent people for expressing their constitutional rights of Self Determination.
