With the intensification of the exposure of the jihadistic genocidal terrorism of the Nigerian Government through their Fulani foot soldiers, instead of taking measures to abate the #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE, as it had become very clear that the world is aware and highly concerned, the APC Government of Nigeria chose the APC approach to solving problems, which is to deflect or divert attention from the main problem through propagandism.
That was why the spin doctors of the Nigerian Government, especially Nuhu Ribadu's #NSA, chose to be scammed by the so-called American LOBBYISTS, who defrauded Nigeria to the tune of $9m. The aim was that this $9m would be channeled to burnish the image of the Nigerian Government, while downplaying the intensifying #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE in Nigeria.
Unfortunately for the Nigerian Government, both the givers and receivers of the $9m, having schemed to make the transaction a secret one, were determined to scam Nigeria, while fattening their pockets (bank accounts) simultaneously. Instead of hiring professional propagandists, they hired cheap, unprofessional, inexperienced, parochial, and amateur scammers who took their money and then truncated the exercise by first exposing/publicizing the deal and, secondly, working against the Nigerian Government by highlighting its corrupt approach to solving national problems.
Starting from paying $9m to DCI, to publicizing the payment (which was supposed to be a secret transaction), to exposing the purpose for which it was meant (downplaying the #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE and diverting attention through misinformation), to hiring local and international media as propaganda machinery, then, to swaying POTUS arbitrarily, without any concrete action to ameliorate the crime of #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE in Nigeria, all were directly or indirectly working against the initiators and the propagators.
Initially, when this $9m deal leaked and became public, both the office of the Nigerian President and that of the National Security Adviser (Nuhu Ribadu) outrightly denied the existence of such a contract. But within a very short time, the evidence of the contract became overwhelming, undeniable, and incontrovertible. It was at that point that the Nigerian Government made a turnaround and admitted that, indeed, they hired Lobbyists with $9m to counter the diplomatic whirlwind of IPOB.
With this admission, the Government of the British Killing Field and graveyard called Nigeria brought itself to such a scandalous level that even its defenders have been totally disarmed, to the point that many of such defenders of "non-negotiability of Nigeria's unity, indivisibility of Nigeria, etc", have been converted to the camp of the propagators of "dissolution of Nigeria as the only solution".
In conclusion, it has been seen that instead of Nigerian Government addressing the issue of Jihadistic genocidal terrorism, which has sustained and intensified the Government-sponsored #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE, and possibly return the IDPs to their homes, (which $9m would have considerably taken care of), the Government chose to continue the #CHRISTIAN_GENOCIDE silently, while using the Lobbyists to divert attention, disinform the world, and effectively cover their tracks.
It has become so that, instead of the $9m covering the Nigerian Government's secrets as intended, it has flung their cupboard wide open. The world is seeing all manner of skeletons that had hitherto been hidden, resulting in various shapes and colours of wailings and lamentations from various angles and quarters.
