Biafra's Self-Determination: A Right Requiring Conscious Defence Against External Suppression and Internal Sabotage Part 1

Every race/nation, as enshrined in ARTICLE 1 of the UN CHARTER, as well as in the African Charter on Human and People's Rights (to both of which Nigeria is a signatory), has a right to decide how they want to live, be governed, and exercise their cultural dispositions.

For Biafrans, this right, called self-determination, is not about hatred against any nation or group, but it is about identity, culture and future generations. In the course of the pursuit of this right, Biafrans have come to encounter this situation of External Suppression and Internal Sabotage against the project.

The external suppression, which is another way of expressing opposition to the project, comes mainly from the Nigerian government, as well as its international collaborators, who are mainly protecting their criminal economic interests.

Much as these international collaborators always claim the territorial integrity of Nigeria as their reason for suppressing Biafra's demand for #SELF_DETERMINATION, it is known that their unspoken and unwritten goal is Biafra's enormous resources, especially oil and gas, upon which these international economic parasites depend heavily.

Internal sabotage can be more damaging than any external suppression. It appears in various forms, such as the existence of multiple groups led by different leaders, which leads to a clash of opinions and strategies that ultimately proves destructive. These competing factions make it challenging, if not impossible, to present a united front for those seeking self-determination. It's clear that this disunity typically benefits enemies.

To combat this external suppression, internal sabotage and subversive activities, the media of the self-determination group must be strengthened and equipped to withstand, counter, and neutralize all the malevolent fabrications of the external suppressors. The media must also always be on the alert to disseminate aggressively the true position of the group and their activities aggressively to the world.

In the area of internal sabotage, it must be borne in mind that defending the rights of the people requires discipline, strategy that is devoid of emotions, peaceful and sustainable civil actions, involving diaspora communities, lobbying parliaments with facts, which rewrites our story to present the agitation as an industrial and unanimous innovative idea, and not retaliation for the evil done against us.

The media also has a vital role to play here, as the media has always been the ears and eyes of any successful organization in businesses of this nature.
