August 02 2024 | State Media

A few days ago, a piece of sad news broke about the death of Senator Ifeanyi Uba in London. He was sound and hearty when he left Anambra for London but died in his hotel room in London. Could this be a coincidence?

So many notable individuals from Igbò land who have gone to London for medical attention all didn't come back alive. One of the problems of Africans is taking things for granted. Not flowing with the world and not asking questions. How can Igbo leaders keep dying in London and people are not already asking questions and suspecting foul play?

In the world of biological weapons, people can be killed technically and no one will know. There are many ways to inflict a heart attack that will lead to instant death. In 2011, Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu went to London for medical care and died there at the age of 78.

Is it, not time for our people to build a befitting hospital in our land for treatment or at least head elsewhere other than London if they must travel out for treatment?

When are we going to know that Britain doesn't want us to survive as a people? They are always spying on us and new politicians to take out. Any politician of Igbo extraction that have the interests of Ndí Igbo at heart will always be their target. Have you asked why they have done nothing in the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is their citizen? They have gone to extra mile to free their citizens held outside Britain, but when the person is an innocent Igbo, they turn a blind eye.

It is time for our people, especially prominent men and women in Igbo land to start avoiding London hospitals and hotels. They always know you are coming and they know your last destination.

Don't say we didn't tell you.
