Nigerian Judiciary And Their Show Of Shame In Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Court Case

Every justice system has a hierarchy in judicial proceedings, and it is a global order of prosecution. So, a case progresses geometrically and terminates in the apex Court or Supreme Court, as it does in Nigeria. The case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has progressed from the Federal High Court to the Court of Appeal and finally to the Supreme Court. Verdicts have discharged and acquitted him of all the charges. He is still being re-tried today.

The Federal Court of Appeal in Abuja discharged Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of all charges on September 18, 2022. A lower court is about to resume trial on the exact charges against him again. The question is, which Judicial system in the world functions this way? There is no respect for the Rule of Law. Lower Courts don't obey higher courts' orders.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafrans incarcerated cannot get justice in this kind of kangaroo Court where their human rights are violated with impunity. I believe that we still have men of integrity and goodwill in the world who can pay attention to the injustice meted out to the Indigenous people of Biafra, whose crime is agitating for self-determination in the most civil approach as enshrined in the UN charter. It is laughable to tag IPOB as a terrorist organisation for exercising their Rights.

It is Worthy of note that in the same Nigerian State, Fulani herders, Bokoharam and other terrorist groups have taken up arms against the Nigerian government, killing other ethnic groups in Nigeria in the name of seeking to have their caliphate. Yet, they are treated as kings while the indigenous people of Biafra are incarcerated, jailed, killed and displaced for asking for their human rights.

Enough of this blatant absurdity and open hatred toward the innocent indigenous people of Biafra by Nigeria and her populace. We have made up our minds to disintegrate from Nigeria because it is a hugely corrupt and failed state that cannot serve the humans occupying it.
