One of the most unsettling news that circulated within the #Biafra_Advocacy groups in the last couple of days was the confirmation of Kanu Agabi's inclusion as part of the legal representation of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The primary reasons for the apprehension of many Biafrans included, although not limited to the fact that Kanu Agabi, SAN, had always been an unrepentant ONE NIGERIANIST, who would always swear even to exchange (sacrifice) his life for the continued existence of the fraudulent contraption called NIGERIA.
Kanu Agabi, SAN, was once (or even twice) appointed the Attorney-General of Nigeria and publicly sworn in and maintained that the "unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable." Kanu Agabi, SAN, has always viewed Nigeria as a perfect creation that cannot be reformatted, for which any person attempting to do so deserves death.
This Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kanu Agabi, has always favoured being apologetic for and on behalf of Biafrans, in even as little as the things which are inalienable rights and entitlements of Biafrans, including the right to #SELF_DETERMINATION.
Now, this same Kanu Agabi, clothed with these antecedents, has not just been announced as part of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's legal defense team but also as the lead Counsel. Based on what is known about Kanu Agabi, the fear being nursed by many Biafrans is entirely founded, as he is not only an apologist of ONE NIGERIA but a core ONE NIGERIANIST.
Kanu Agabi has even heightened the apprehension of many Biafrans by "tendering an apology" on behalf of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu "to Justice Binta Nyako, the Judiciary, and to his defense team", the confirmation of which the approval ever came from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is yet to be ascertained.
Any close observer who paid even haphazard attention to the defense team's post-appearance press conference, as represented by Kanu Agabi, could easily deduce what the SAN is focused on based on his repeated mention of "unity" and "harmonious co-existence" as a basis for moving forward.
Based on all the above, we may not be able to question or ascertain the factors that influenced our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to choose this Legal Luminary, Kanu Agabi. But considering his antecedents and dispositions, many Biafrans' fear, worry, apprehension, and anxiety concerning his dexterous pursuit of the case may be warranted and equally justified.
Let there be no mix-up in what Biafrans want. The demand for BIAFRANS remains straightforward. That demand is a #UN_supervised #REFERENDUM for a PEACEFUL #BiafrExit from Nigeria.
It was the same #Brexit that #UK applied to exit #EU.
