It is imperative to dissolve Nigeria as all the faucets that define a State have failed completely.
First, the security apparatus has failed, it is no longer news that Nigeria is the most terrorized country in the world. There are over eight globally recognized terrorist groups in Nigeria that are carrying out killings, kidnappings and raping of women and children all over the country. The terror groups are Isis, Bokoharam, Iswap, and Fulani herdsmen, to mention but a few. Police stations and army barracks are overrun by these terrorists daily, making the places volatile and open to other criminal activities. Therefore, safety is not guaranteed for the citizens and, of course, visitors. Fulani herders overrun towns and villages, and even farmers cannot go to farms to cultivate food for the citizens due to insecurities, making the larger population unable to have adequate food for themselves and their children.
The security situation in Nigeria is worse, given the different indices of globally recognized institutions. The Fulani terrorists go to any part of the country fully armed to the teeth, killing, kidnapping and raping women, destroying farmlands, and forcefully taking over communities where the Indigenous people have no means of defending themselves. If the security apparatus of a nation fails to protect the lives and properties of its citizens, that nation is said to have failed completely.
The Judicial system is the next most terrible institution in Nigeria right now. It has collapsed, justice and the Rule of Law are no longer obtainable in any of its Courts. Justice has become a scarce commodity. Injustice is cheap and can be served by the political party in government, like the APC government of President Tinubu, which is dishing it out in every corner of the country.
What else can we say if a state's security apparatus has failed and the Judiciary is openly rewriting the country's constitution? This is a practical definition of a Failed State. To avoid a bloody Revolution, let the people who wish to disintegrate from the unsafe union of Nigeria start their sovereign nation.
