One deadly syndrome, which later transformed itself into a virus, and very recently, a PLAGUE, is the veil, which the predatory #CollectiveWest, @NATO, has successfully covered the brains of Africans in general, but Nigerians in particular, called "WHAT MY FAMILY AND I WILL EAT". This Plague, called "what my family and I will eat," is a metaphorical expression for the family's financial or economic security.
For many years, if not centuries, there has been a concerted effort to make Africans believe that success is solely defined by how much money one can acquire, accumulate, and display. This has led to a widespread focus on outsmarting others and striving to be perceived as the best or at the top of this relentless pursuit of wealth. Consequently, the ambitions and desires of almost everyone have become fixated on this mindless and, at times, insane tendency to acquire more and more.
The desire and inclination to acquire money for the financial security of the family forms the foundation of all activities. This quest, driven by a seemingly insatiable and often irrational fear of future economic instability, aims to protect the family from potential poverty and hardship.
Because of the above permutation, or should I say, calculation, this syndrome, which we have variously described as a PLAGUE, VIRUS, and DISEASE, systematically, gradually, and totally, permeated, and has been assimilated by every fabric in the system of Africans, to the detriment, if not catastrophic destruction of Africa, but with particular reference to Nigeria.
Because of want of time and space, we need to summarize that this VIRUS has eaten into every strata of existence in Africa, as can be seen from the insane desire to amass MONEY, which has totally and completely ruined the African continent, but particularly, Nigeria.
Take the political and governance arena for instance.
The #CollectiveWest have reconfigured the mentality of all those that they trump up and install into governance to the point that the so called leaders are never minded to bring any atom of public good to the society, but to use the opportunity of governance to "financially secure their families up to eternity".
This is why you see some Heads of State, privately depositing hundreds of billions of dollars, in foreign accounts, (which they lose to those foreign countries when they die), instead of utilizing the money to advance and enhance infrastructural development, that would ultimately benefit the society at large.
It must be noted that this mental disposition is universally applicable to all those in political engagements, whether "ELECTED", appointed, consensualized, or seconded. Their primary target is to secure what "they and their family will eat".
