"BIAFRA CIVIL WAR WAS NOT MY CHOICE" ~ Yakubu Gowon
It is somewhat baffling and beyond comprehension that at this dusk of Gowon's life, he should still be so cowardly as to be terrified about the penalization of the #CollectiveWest for speaking about their dubious pact, criminal conspiracy, and genocidal covenant. What could the covenant entail?
Now that Gowon is a few steps from the land of the ancestors (because of his exceptional longevity), won't somebody close to him remind him of the unstoppable march of NEMESIS and the impartial pronouncement, as well as execution of its judgement? Can't somebody whisper RETRIBUTION to Gowon?
Will Gowon desire a total extermination, annihilation, and obliteration of his people, as he had intended for Biafrans?
Putting all the above together, we consider it pertinent to remind Gowon (because he already knows) that to facilitate and ensure his peaceful departure and to douse the fire of genocidal extermination spreading across his region, he must first tell the world the role of the British Government in their proxy genocidal war against #Biafrans (as he admitted).
He must also tell the world the truth about what transpired starting from the time he murdered Aguiyi Ironsi, to the initial plan of excision of the North from Nigeria and its truncation, to ABURI Conference as well as ABURI ACCORD, to triggering the genocidal war, even though the war was by all means avoidable.
Again, Gowon must tell the world whose CHOICE the war that wiped out close to half of the Biafran nation's population (over 6 million Biafrans died) was so that the records will be put straight. In straightening out the records, the locus of accountability will be established, responsibility allocated, and reparations obtained.
We may be able to determine whether the same forces that truncated the Aburi Accord also chose to engage in the genocidal war instead of pursuing a peaceful, harmonious, and mutually beneficial resolution.
It is important to remember that this troubling decision facilitated, triggered, and executed the genocidal war. It also led to the concealment of all records related to the conflict to prevent global condemnation and diverted the attention of a hypocritical world from understanding the full extent of the human desecration, violations, and abuses that occurred. Since then, there has been a continued, silent genocide against Biafrans from various angles.
We must emphasize that these same forces appear to be fiercely and vehemently opposed to the self-determination efforts of the Biafran people.
The internationally coordinated and collaborated ABDUCTION of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, his extraordinary rendition to Nigeria, and his present PERSECUTION (in the name of prosecution) all have the fingerprint of those who CHOSE GENOCIDAL WAR against #Biafrans, rather than the implementation of the well marshalled out ABURI ACCORD.
If Gowon does not tell that story now, he may eventually have missed the golden opportunity to rebuild his life, save his conscience, deliver his region from the catastrophic devastation sweeping across that region in the form of Fulani terroristic genocidal massacre, and perhaps, save unborn generations from the burden of ONE NIGERIANISM, which he sacrificed the lives of over 6 million Biafrans to obtain.
Biafrans still demand a UN-supervised referendum for PEACEFUL #BiafrExit as a panacea to the chaos and Golgotha that Nigeria has become to many of its inhabitants.
