A clear study of the events in Nigeria has shown that the Igbos of southeast extraction are the most persecuted, most marginalized and most terrorized in Nigeria, despite the Southeast region of Nigeria being the commercial hub of Nigeria.
The leadership of the apex Igbo group has been stirred by individuals from all the states that make up the old Eastern Region. Recently, the organization has faced leadership crises in many states where the Igbo people reside. The root of the issue is clear: the group has deviated from its primary objective, which is to ensure the well-being and progress of Igbo people worldwide. Since the organization allowed itself to be influenced by the corrupt Nigerian system, it has become a shadow of its former self. Whenever attempts are made to unify the Igbo people, the Nigerian government and its allies work against it, while Ohaneze Ndigbo remains silent. They have not addressed the marginalization and attacks by terrorist Fulani herders in the Southeast.
It is never too late for the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo to acknowledge the sufferings of Ndigbo in Nigeria and declare, 'Enough is Enough.' Enough of staying silent over evil unleashed on the people you represent. Enough of the killings.
Join the people of the Southeast in seeking the restoration of Biafran sovereignty. A place where there shall be no Fulani terrorists nor marginalization. A place of freedom. OHANEZE should channel its resources into the Biafran restoration project because, in Nigeria, there is no future for anyone from the Southeast, regardless of their ethnic background, such as Ijaw, Isoko, Ibibio, or Kalabari.
There is a serious crisis throughout the nation, with each tribe arguing for its own interests. This is the time for the Ohaneze Ndigbo leadership to take a bold step.
