According to information gathered from a reliable source, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Christopher Gwabin Musa has commissioned several underground guard rooms where combatant soldiers who speak out against collusion between military officers and terrorists are being held incommunicado. These soldiers are reportedly killed with a life-draining injection that causes a slow death. In the following days, the military is expected to announce these missing soldiers as casualties in action through their media platform.
On June 24, 2025, a total of eighteen soldiers were killed in Niger State. They did not perish while defending their homeland or its citizens; instead, they died fighting for the return of resources from higher-ranking officers, who were seeking the normal monthly payments from Fulani herdsmen. Despite the circumstances, news of the dead soldiers was not made public; it was instead concealed from the public eye. Their parents would be informed that their children were missing in action.
Corruption within the Nigerian state's national security has reached a staggering level. Military commanders are reportedly being bribed with cows in exchange for allowing herders to graze on people's farmlands. Cows are being reared in the barracks, and no one speaks out against it. Junior officers who express dissent are often confined to the guardroom and falsely accused of other offences.
No regime can change the insecurity in Nigeria, as all the parastatals in the contraption are rooted in corruption; division is the answer.
