Recently, a community leader from Kwara State revealed in an interview with Sahara Reporters that the Nigerian military and the Department of State Security (DSS) claim their inability to confront the terrorists terrorizing Kwara State is due to their possession of inferior weaponry.
This explanation seems disingenuous and misleading, as the national budget allocates billions of naira each year for acquiring highly sophisticated weapons and machinery to combat insecurity. These funds are intended for their specified purpose, but appear to be mismanaged or unaccounted for.
The fight against terrorism in Nigeria, particularly the Fulanis masquerading as herdsmen, has been undermined by military officers and politicians of Fulani descent. Examples of these political figures include some Northern governors, senators, lawmakers, a past president, the current the vice president, and military chiefs, among others.
The constant sabotage over the fight against terrorism by these evil personnel has led to the countless loss of military personnel in the Frontline battling against terrorists who dine with their commanders behind, thereby making them scapegoats on the battlefield.
Nigeria isn't worthy to be called a country, nor should it be seen as a human-resident territory; rather, it is a pure jungle.
