The 26th day of December 2021 on Sunday morning will remain a memorable day in Imo State, when the news of invasion and kidnapping of Hon. Uche Nwosu, a former governorship aspirant in Imo state took place right inside the church. The members of St Peter's Anglican church in Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre in Imo state had assembled in church like every other Sunday to worship their God, unknown to them, there was a secret plot by masked Nigeria Security Forces to invade, disrupt, beat-up members and kidnap a member at the middle of the Service.
The Nigeria Security operatives stormed the premises shooting sporadically and invaded the church. They got hold of Hon. Uche Nwosu, a former Imo State Chief of Staff from 2015 to 2019 and gubernatorial candidate of AA party during 2019 Imo State elections.
There was stampede as the large number of worshippers ran for their lives. Some people were injured while others sustained gunshot wounds. The targeted Uche Nwosu was bruised, his clothes torn while he was dragged on the floor of the Church. His wife was allegedly beaten and her clothes also torn as they tried to defend or protect themselves from the strange looking kidnappers.
This time again, Imo State was in the news for another sad news on a Boxing Day. The rumour of the invasion and kidnapping went viral. The state was tensed and citizens ran home in fear of what the government will do next.
To the shock of the citizens and the world, Imo State commissioner of Police made a press statement affirming that the operation was carried out by men of Nigeria Police and that he has Uche Nwosu in his custody. In their usual style, he started rolling out lies and made effort to paint it a picture of arrest instead of kidnapping.
Questions we want to ask the Nigeria Police Command are:
- Did they issue Uche Nwosu a warrant of arrest before this attack?
- How can he justify the shooting and abduction of somebody inside the church during worship?
- How can masked men who were not in uniform storm a church with unmarked vehicles portray picture of Police carrying out arrest?
- In which book is it written that you arrest a suspect and bundle him into the boot of a car, not minding if he suffocates while you drive him in such a long distance?
- How can a team of masked men who came for a man end up beating his wife and tearing her clothes?
The Commissioner of Police Mr Michael Abattam should spare us this stupid and nonsensical narratives of a biased and corrupt Security Department. Only a fool will listen to his submission.
The Live video is a clear evidence to prove to the world that all the extra-judicial killings and kidnappings going on in Imo State is the handwork of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma and Nigeria terrorists Security Agents. He supervises each operation and turns around to point accusing fingers at IPOB or ESN families. He has been using Police and Army to kill Imo State youths and Traditional Rulers, and covers up the trail and ensures they are not investigated.
Imo State "Supreme Court" Governor Hope Uzodinma, Nigeria Police and Army must stop tagging their heinous activities on IPOB or ESN members. If what happened between Uche Nwosu and Hope Uzodinma boys was not captured in the viral video, Hope Uzodinma would have sent Nigeria Army to go after Imo State Youths, IPOB family and ESN and burn down their houses.
The House of God has been desecrated by these evil men in government. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) must rise up to the occasion and condemn it in totality. They must ensure it doesn't happen again.
Today, the family of IPOB and ESN have been vindicated again. God will continue to expose Governor Hope Uzodinma as he unleashes Evil in a State where he swore an Oath to defend the people's lives and properties.
In Orlu, Izombe, Ihitte-Ukwa, Ihitte-Asaa and many others have been razed down and the youths kidnapped and killed. Posterity shall surely judge the Governor of Imo State and Nigeria Government for every bloodshed. The disintegration and shutting down of Nigeria are sacrosanct. Biafra must be achieved.
