The marginalised people of Biafra under the umbrella of IPOB stormed the streets again after a very long time in protest against the continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the federal government of Nigeria.
In their placards they demanded for unconditional Release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as Ordered by Abia state high court in January, 2022, UN working group in June, 2022, Federal Appeal court of Nigeria Abuja in October, 2022 and federal high court Abia State in October 26, 2022. These constituted institutions in Nigeria and international world have all ordered for unconditional release of His Excellency Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra.
Recall that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted in Kenya by the corrupt administration of the past President of Kenya, president Uhuru Kenyatta, tortured and detained in an undisclosed private residence for 8 days and later handed over to their corrupt Nigeria counterpart who extraordinarily renditioned him to Nigeria on June 28th 2021, thereby, bridging every known international protocol, including Kenya immigration law. A clear case of state sponsored terrorism against another sovereign Nation.
Since June 28th, Nnamdi Kanu has been locked up in Nigeria DSS facility in Abuja under solitary confinement, subjected to hunger and deprived of sun light. He was assigned before a very compromised and corrupt Fulani female judge known for using her position as a judge and her romance with the Fulani controlled Muhammadu Buhari Administration to intimidate IPOB lawyers.
Justice Binta Nyako knew that she lacks the jurisdiction to put Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on trial because of the extraordinary rendition which placed legal barrier on Nigeria government not to try him as Nigeria cannot benefit from her own wrong. She arrogantly ignored it, over ruled the motion filed by the defense counsel and decided to put Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on trial ostensibly as a plea bargain that the same Buhari regime may set her corrupt husband Murtala Nyako and Son who are standing fraud trial in Nigeria court free.
Apparently, the defense team proceed on appeal against the ruling by justice Binta Nyako to put Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on trial despite being extraordinarily Renditioned from Kenya to Nigeria against all known local and international laws, protocols and convictions.
On October 13th, the appeal court in a landmark judgement discharged, acquitted and ordered that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot be mistreated, molested, detained nor charged by any court in Nigeria because of the legal barrier posed by his extraordinary Rendition. In other words, Nigeria appeal Court declared Mazi Nnamdi Kanu untouchable in Nigeria in a court verdict that was well celebrated across the world by IPOB families and every lover of freedom.
In utter disregard to the constitutional order of a lawful constituted Nigerian court of appeal, Nigeria Government through the ministry of justice under Abubakar Malami blatantly refused to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Malami out of anger, rather transferred the three appeal court judges who fearlessly delivered that resounding landmark Judgement that acquitted and discharged Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as a punishment for daring to deliver justice to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as against the directive of the federal government of Nigeria which is controlled by Fulani.
Since then, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is continuously held illegally in DSS dungeon in Abuja against Appeal court Judgement. Against this background, Biafrans are now employing every legal, diplomatic and civil means to ensure that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu regains FREEDOM to continue the push for the restoration of Biafra Nation.
Self-determination is not a crime. It is the right of Indigenous people to seek because it is enshrined in the U.N. charter for which Nigeria is a signatory to. On this premise, Biafrans under IPOB, have resumed the mass protest against this glaring oppressive government of Nigeria. The masses stormed the streets of Aba Abia State to call on the World to press on Nigeria to release Nnamdi Kanu immediately and pay him compensation as mandated by both Nigeria Courts and the United Nation Group.
