Nigeria, in its collapsing state, turned for the worse after a wanted drug baron, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was rigged into power by the corrupt electoral commission sponsored by the British government.
Senator Tambuwal angrily spat fire as he truthfully declared that, for the past three years, no reasonable project has been carried out in the country; rather, funds have been constantly looted and pocketed by the president, senators, and all other political office holders. Meaning that since President Tinubu came into power, he has not implemented any budget other than constant borrowing of funds from the international community and embezzling them.
In 2023, an alarming 21.8 trillion naira was borrowed and embezzled, highlighting issues of financial mismanagement and corruption. The following year, in 2024, this troubling trend continued, with an additional 28.8 trillion naira borrowed and misappropriated, deepening the nation's financial crisis. By 2025, the situation had escalated further, with an astonishing 49.7 trillion naira in borrowed funds lost to embezzlement.
Amidst this financial turmoil, the safety and security of Nigerians have clearly taken a backseat; the Northern regions of the country have been particularly devastated by terrorism, forcing numerous communities to abandon their homes in search of safety. Villages that have fled their communities in the North include those in Katsina, Nasarawa, Zamfara, Kebbi, Bauchi, Kwara, Niger, Kaduna, and Borno states. The plight of these citizens underscores a pressing need for urgent action and reform in both governance and security.
The truth is that tribes are suffering from ethnic cleansing by the Fulani jihadist terrorists.
